A fire at a dry-storage facility at Seattle Boat Co. on Lake Union in Washington this week damaged 30 boats, according to a report in The Seattle Times.

Crews responded to the fire, at the 700 block of Northeast Northlake Way in Seattle, around 2 a.m. March 22. An adjacent warehouse also was on fire.

A 32-year-old man found hiding aboard a boat docked near the fire was arrested for suspected arson.

“We’ve got locked gates, we have a lot of camera footage, and we’ve got security systems inside the building, as well,” said Elizabeth Bohling, general manager of Seattle Boat Co.

Bohling said the company provided the security footage to detectives.
