PHOTO COURTESY AIRMARTransducer manufacturer Airmar Technology announced its lineup of Certified Installer and SmartBoat system training classes for the rest of this year and into 2023.
Registration is open for sessions being held at Viking Yachts subsidiary Atlantic Marine Electronics in New Gretna, N.J., Dec. 7 and 8, and at Airmar headquarters in Milford, N.H., Feb. 28 and March 1. Registration for sessions in Savannah, Ga., and Denton, Md., will open soon, according to Airmar.
“We are still in the early stages of ramping up our next series of training dates and locations,” Airmar director of marketing Craig Cushman said in a statement.
The Certified Installer designation gives technicians best practices for transducer selection and installation, as well as techniques for troubleshooting.
SmartBoat system training presents technical details for the installation of a complete CHIRP system, plus strategies for configuring it to gain the most visibility and control of the boat’s sensor data.
