Albemarle Boats said it will debut a new 30-foot express at next year’s St. Petersburg Boat Show, which is scheduled for Jan. 14-17 in St. Petersburg, Fla.

During the last two years, Albemarle introduced two dual consoles aimed at boating families, but general manager Burch Perry said the “new 30 express will be more of a return to our fishing roots.”

The boat features a helm area with forward-facing seating for three, mezzanine-style seating aft, in-deck macerated fishboxes, a transom live well, a tackle center and a transom door. Below are a full galley, a standup head and an A-bunk for overnighting.

Every boat will have dedicated space for a Seakeeper 2 gyro stabilizer, and Albemarle said the triple 300-hp Yamaha option will make her the fastest Albemarle ever.

Pricing with standard twin Yamaha 300-hp outboards will be $315,900.
