Asonautica Joins ICOMIA

The Colombia trade group represents its country’s marine industry.

ICOMIA announced today that Asonautica, a Colombian trade association, has joined as a full member.

“Asonautico’s membership in ICOMIA marks an important milestone for Colombia’s nautical sector and opens new opportunities for international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and sustainable growth,” said Meylin Carballo Salguedo, executive director of Asonautica, in a statement.

Founded in 2015, Asonautico aims to enable growth and competitiveness in the Colombian marine industry and strengthen the nautical culture within the country, boosting activities such as marinas, yacht clubs, shipyards, distributors and boat dealers, among others.
