Bennington Marine, the Elkhart, Ind.-based manufacturer of pontoon boats, fiberglass deck boats and runabouts, recently made the 2008 Inc. 5000 list.
The 2008 Inc. 5000 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held and independent as of Dec. 31, 2007, with revenues of at least $200,000 in 2004 and $2 million in 2007, according to Inc.com.
Bennington Marine showed 44.5 percent growth from 2004 to 2007. The company reported revenues of $105.2 million in 2004 and $152 million in 2007. It was the only boatbuilder included in the 2008 ranking, the company said in a statement.
