PHOTO COURTESY CANTIERE DEL PARDOCalzedonia Group and Wise Equity fund have a binding contract to acquire Cantiere del Pardo, the builder of Grand Soleil, Pardo and VanDutch yachts.
Fabio Planamente and Gigi Servidati will maintain a minority stake in the yard, which was founded in 1973. In a statement, the company said it has launched more than 5,000 boats under the Grand Soleil brand and more recently Pardo and VanDutch.
Wise Equity initially invested in the yard in 2020, helping to fund the Pardo line of powerboats launched in 2017. With Calzedonia Group, Cantiere del Pardo says it will pursue international growth and plans to develop new models.
