PHOTO COURTESY COAST GUARD FOUNDATION The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the Coast Guard community and its families, yesterday announced that it elected seven new members to its board of trustees. The additions of Lavelle Edmondson, Jonathon Fisher, Amr Hussein, Vera Lannek, James Linkous, Michael Lodge and Lawrence Ryder bring the board to 81 active trustees and directors. The board is led by chairman Thomas A. Allegretti.
“On behalf of the Coast Guard Foundation, I am delighted to welcome our new board members to the Board of Trustees,” Susan Ludwig, president of the Coast Guard Foundation, said in a statement. “Their diverse backgrounds and unwavering commitment to our mission will undoubtedly strengthen our efforts to support the brave men and women of the Coast guard. Together we will continue to make a profound impact on the lives of those who serve our nation with honor and dedication.”
Lavelle D. Edmondson is the director of state government and public affairs at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where he oversees government and public affairs for the eastern U.S.
The former CEO of Mold-Masters, an international company in 55 countries, Jonathon Fischer has served on many boards including chairman of Davis-Standard, a global equipment manufacturer.
Amr Hussein is the vice president of multi-domain combat solutions and general manager of Lockheed Martin’s Rotary and Mission Systems facilities in New Jersey.
Vera Lannek, a 25-year veteran in the maritime industry, has held senior roles at Carnival, Maersk and the United States Navy.
James Linkous is a founding member and senior vice president at STACK Infrastructure, where he oversees major client relationships.
Michael Lodge has been with Chevron for 12 years and currently serves as managing counsel.
Lawrence S. Ryder has more than 20 years of experience in the defense sector and is the current vice president of business development and external affairs at Austal USA.
