FB Marine Group promoted Mike Victor to Contender Boats product manager, putting him in charge of the brand’s product line at the Fort Lauderdale. Fla., dealership. Victor has helped drive more than 75 boat sales for the dealership in the past three years.
FB Marine Group owner Kim Sweers said in a press release that Victor’s firsthand experience rigging, running and fishing Contenders sets him apart: “That kind of firsthand knowledge is something you can’t teach.”
Added Rob Sabin of Contender: “We couldn’t ask for a better person to lead the brand in Broward County, FB Marine Group’s flagship location. Mike knows these boats inside and out, and his passion for the product shows in every customer he takes care of. We’re excited to see what he does in this role.”
A Fort Lauderdale native now living in Boca Raton, Fla., Victor has a family background in marine retail. His father, Brian Victor, founded Victor International Yacht Sales and has worked as a broker for more than 35 years.
