Four Winns has launched an electric 22-foot bowrider, the H2e. The builder partnered with Vision Marine Technologies for its first electric, production bowrider.
“Boaters are more aware than ever of their environmental footprint and are looking for sustainable solutions to reducing carbon emissions while still being able to enjoy the passions they love so much,” Vision CEO Alexandre Mongeon said in a statement.
The H2e is powered by a 180E electric outboard and has an estimated top speed of 40 mph. The powertrain consists of two high-density, 700-volt battery packs with an integrated charger that Vision says can be plugged into any shore power system.
Vision Marine is exhibiting the H2e at the Paris Boat Show Dec. 3-10. Four Winns plans to introduce the model to the U.S. market at the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show Feb. 15-20.
