ICOMIA’s Marinas Group presented its Golden Cleat award to Daniel S. Natchez, president of Daniel S. Natchez & Associates of Mamaroneck, N.Y., an environmental waterfront design consultancy.

The award was announced during the recent ICOMIA World Marinas Conference in Portugal. Natchez received the lifetime achievement award for his leadership, advocacy efforts and dedication to the marina industry.

“Dan has been a leading proponent of the industry, with a proactive, unique approach for enhancing the marine environment through meaningful, functional design, especially with a view to making marinas more accessible for people with limited mobility,” ICOMIA said in a statement.

The Golden Cleat Award is presented the World Marinas Conference, which is held every two years. The next conference is scheduled for Oct. 15-17, 2025, in Venice, Italy, hosted by Venezia Certosa Marina.
