
Business texting platform Kenect said it completed its acquisition of Friendemic, a digital platform geared toward automotive and powersports dealerships and manufacturers.
Kenect is a texting platform used by businesses to communicate with customers, generate reviews, produce leads, collect payments and increase revenue. Friendemic is a provider of online reputation and digital communication software solutions.
“We are pleased to welcome the Friendemic team to Kenect and expand our capabilities for current customers and offer a broader set of opportunities for new customers,” Kenect CEO Shaun Sorensen said in a statement. “Friendemic’s focus on their customers and their deep relationships with dealers is exciting for Kenect.”

Kenect is used by nearly 6,000 businesses; the acquisition brings the customer base to 8,000.
