Sea Tow presented awards to its franchise owners during its annual meeting last month in Hilton Head, S.C. The awards recognize outstanding service, sales and marketing achievements, community support and more.

Efforts Above and Beyond awards were presented to the following for outstanding performance of duty in assisting boaters:

• Capt. Stephen Vigilante and Capt. Robert Hughes, Sea Tow Tampa Bay

• Capt. Stuart Hamilton, Sea Tow Central Florida Lakes

• Capt. Thomas Doenig, Capt. Jonathan Gebka, general manager Michele Kerrigan, Capt. Jonathan LaPadula and Capt. Michael Speck, Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale

• Capt. Walt Bohn and Capt. Dan Siegel, Sea Tow Central New Jersey

• Capt. David Brewer, Sea Tow Clearwater/Port Richey

• Capt. Seth Thomas and Capt. Joshua Ragan, Sea Tow Wrightsville Beach and Sea Tow Crystal Coast

• Capt. Jim Gregory, Sea Tow Lake Norman/Wylie and Sea Tow Lake Kerr/Gaston

The Public Relations Champion Award, which recognizes the franchise that best utilized public relations practices to promote the Sea Tow brand, was presented to Sea Tow Central New Jersey general manager Capt. Walt Bohn.

The Brand Champion Award was presented to Capt. Kerry Kline of Sea Tow Central Florida Lakes for embodying the spirit and values of the Sea Tow brand.

The Tech Champion Award went to Capt. Kerry Kline of Sea Tow Central Florida Lakes, Capt. Patrick Lamb of Sea Tow Clearwater/Port Richey, and Capt. Cameron Macrum of Sea Tow Venice for their technology-forward approach to operations, and engagement with the IT team to help improve Sea Tow systems.

The Sea Tow Foundation Hero Award, presented to the franchisee who most exemplifies the foundation’s mission to promote boating safety, went to Capt. Karl Leinheiser, owner of Sea Tow Delaware River.

The Georgia Frohnhoefer Award, which honors an outstanding woman in the Sea Tow network, was presented to general manager Michele Kerrigan of Sea Tow Fort Lauderdale.

The Shipmate Award recognizes franchisees who exemplify teamwork, put the brand first, and encourages patience for the good of the Sea Tow network. This year’s award was presented to Capt. Ramsey Chason of Sea Tow Rhode Island and Sea Tow Cape and Islands, Capt. Patrick Lamb of Sea Tow Clearwater/Port Richey, and Capt. John Ward of Sea Tow Destin and Sea Tow Pensacola.

Sea Tow Rookie of the Year, which recognizes the top-performing new franchise owner, was presented to Capt. Keith Hansen of Sea Tow Central Hudson.

Sea Tow Franchise of the Year was presented to Capt. Chris Ward, owner of Sea Tow Islamorada, Sea Tow Lower Keys, and Sea Tow Key West.
