Detroit-based propeller manufacturer Sharrow Marine launched an OEM Propeller Boatbuilder Program, the company announced.
Founder and CEO Greg Sharrow said the program will utilize the in-house engineering team to analyze hull, engine and prop efficiency to achieve optimum planing speeds, better close-quarters maneuvering and more.
“You can have the best motor or boat in the world, but the propeller is ultimately the device that transfers engine power and torque to the water,” Sharrow said in a statement. “The optimized boat/motor/propeller package is the holy grail for the marine industry.”
The program includes a development package that will provide builders with custom Sharrow propellers developed for their boats and engines.
