Smartgyro announced that it promoted Fabrizio Stifani to research-and-development manager. One of the founding members of the company, Stifani previously was senior software and hardware engineer.

In his new position, Stifani will lead a nine-member R&D team to focus on innovation and product development.

“It is a very exciting time for Smartgyro as a business, as we celebrate our 10-year milestone this year,” Stifani said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to leading and guiding our excellent R&D team in our continued efforts to improve and innovate Smartgyro’s portfolio. It’s a great honor for me to have been part of Smartgyro’s history, and I’m excited to be part of its future.”
