Missouri-based seating and accessories manufacturer Springfield Marine named Michael Folkerts president.
As a member of Brunswick Corp.’s parts and accessories segment, Folkerts oversaw management and supply chain for Attwood and Land ‘N’ Sea, and lead Diversified Marine Products, BLA Distribution and Garelick Manufacturing.
“As Springfield Marine celebrates its 70th anniversary, Michael takes over from Jeff Gilmore, who retired after 45 years with the company,” company owner Caroline Carnahan said in a statement. “At a time of rapid growth in revenue and market share, his leadership will provide the foundation needed to continue our momentum, while also expanding our offerings to better serve our channel partners.”
