The Association of Marina Industries last week announced its newly certified marina managers and certified marine operators. There are 480 CMMs and 59 CMOs worldwide.
After completing an Intermediate Marina Management Course and Advanced Marina Management Course, each manager or operator must submit an application that is reviewed and approved by a review committee.
Recipients of CMM and CMO certifications were Amie Nappi, Jim Nester, Robert McQueeny, Dan Ongley, Felecia Ongley, Michele Clark, Sean Adair, Travis Staat, Jeremy Holcomb, Steve Sider, Kathryn Ross, Greg Macuga, Donnie Quinn, Sam Hird, Logan Moore, Jay Korn, Matt Domke and Matt Bauer.
“Marina professionals are hungry for training,” training coordinator Merritt Alves said in a statement. “We are training a record number of students between all our course offerings, which in turn should lead to a record number of new CMM and CMOs.”
The certified marina management and certified marina operators were recognized at the AMI Conference and Expo in early February.
