Soundings Trade Only yesterday announced the dates of its Women in the Industry 1+1 program, which will start with a Facebook Live event June 16 at 9 a.m. (ET).
The program, which runs June 16-24, matches people in the first five years of their career with marine industry leaders for virtual, 30-minute, one-on-one conversations to share insights, expand knowledge, and foster personal development and community. People of all genders are welcome.
“We know that 36 percent of the people who have attended the Women in the Industry series are within the first five years of their careers, while 27 percent have worked in the industry more than 20 years,” Soundings Trade Only publisher Michele Goldsmith said in a statement. “This program is an initiative to connect those groups to share knowledge and insights. We are grateful to the 40 outstanding industry leaders who are donating their time and wisdom.”
