West Marine Pro announced a partnership with the American Boat & Yacht Council and its nationwide network of technical schools. As part of the arrangement, West Marine Pro will offer graduating students whose schools are part of the program access to exclusive pricing, tools and materials, among other benefits.
“We are excited to collaborate with ABYC and its extensive network of technical schools,” Geoff Raymoure, West Marine Pro vice president, said in a statement. “Our mission goes beyond being just a supplier — we aim to be a true partner in the education and professional development of future marine professionals.”
The partnership positions West Marine Pro as the preferred resource for ABYC-affiliated schools, the statement said, and is designed to support the next generation of marine service professionals.
