U.K.-based Williams Jet Tenders has invested £450,000 ($562,000) in a new research and development space, according to a statement.
The company says the 450-square-meter space was completed in early May. It houses a test tank with space for up to 23-foot tenders, which covers the builder’s current model range. The area also includes new lifting gear, metal and composite research and development spaces and a photography studio, according to the statement.
Dan Bloice-Smith, development director at Williams Jet Tenders, said in the statement, “This is a really exciting time for Williams. Our new research and development space is an excellent investment and will open up even more opportunities for the development of new market-leading products and innovations, ensuring we can maintain our position as a global leader.”
