Winnebago Industries announced yesterday key changes to its executive leadership team, including newly created group leader roles.
Effective Sept. 1, Jeff Haradine will be senior vice president of the Marine Group and president of Barletta Boats, Winnebago said in a statement. Haradine will continue to lead Barletta as president and will also provide oversight of Chris-Craft and work with company leadership to drive additional growth in the segment.
Steve Heese will remain president of Chris-Craft and senior vice president of Power Systems, in addition to providing continued oversight to the Lithionics business. Heese will remain on the executive leadership team, reporting to Haradine. Chris-Craft will remain its own distinct business unit within this group, the statement said.
In addition, Ashis Bhattacharya, senior vice president of advanced technology, corporate ventures and engineering services, will retire, effective Oct. 3. Bhattacharya joined Winnebago Industries in 2016 and has been instrumental in the company’s evolution from a single-brand motorhome company to a portfolio of premium outdoor recreation brands.
“These changes are designed to help us stay agile, support future growth and leverage the strong leadership talent we have across the company,” Winnebago president and CEO Michael Happe said in the statement. “Most importantly, they’re about continuing to serve our customers, supporting our employees and delivering value to our shareholders.”
Changes also were made in Winnebago’s Motorized RV Group, as well as marketing, investor relations and other departments.
