Exhibitors were enthusiastic about the turnout, and 30 businesses participated in a career fair that drew more than 200 job-seekers.

The show kicked off with press events announcing new products, industry awards, branding arrangements, environmental initiatives and more.

Anne Dunbar, who has led the trade show for more than 10 years, is moving up from show director to executive director.

Both NMMA shows opened yesterday and run through Sunday.

The Feb. 15 event, in conjunction with the Miami boat show, includes a state-of-the-industry address and awards presentations.
