Global Ocean Security Technologies (GOST, formerly Paradox Marine) has introduced the GOST Immobilizer, a theft prevention system for single-outboard boats, RIBs and PWC.
Controlled with a wireless key fob, the Immobilizer blocks high-current draw from the battery. When an engine start-up is attempted, the Immobilizer sounds a timed siren and prevents the engine from turning over. “Immobilizer is the ideal solution for small craft and fills a significant void in this segment of the market,” says GOST director of research and development Brian Kane.
