Malibu Boats, the parent of Axis, Cobalt, Pursuit, Cobia, Pathfinder, Maverick and Hewes, yesterday released the results of its fiscal 2025 second quarter.
According to a statement, net sales of $200.3 million were a decline of 5.1% compared with the previous-year quarter, largely due to decreased unit volumes in the Malibu and saltwater fishboat categories. Gross margin grew 18.7%.
Overall sales during the quarter were $1.22 billion from $1.37 billion a year ago. Gross profit was $37.4 million, down slightly from $37.5 million year-over-year.
Malibu’s guidance for the full fiscal year forecasts a flat to low-single-digit decline in consolidated net sales and adjusted EBITDA margin of 10%.
